Well, it's been a few months since my last post, so I guess I'm due for an update.

My birthday was on the fifth. I went out for dinner with Shawn and the roomies and then we all played Soul Caliber IV for the rest of the evening. It was a really laid back celebration, but that's usually how I like 'em. For a present mom took me shopping two days before that and I got some new clothes and stuff. Nothing too exciting, but I enjoyed it. :> Shawn pre-ordered Final Fantasy: Dissidia for me, although I won't be able to pick it up until it's released in October so that's something to look forward to for the fall. He also got me some pretty pretty roses a week before hand as well. <3

Last night I had my first ever games of Laser Tag at Laser Quest which was pretty cool. It's Kate's birthday on Saturday and James' on Sunday so that was our celebration for that, followed by some food at Local Heroes which, as always, was good food with TERRIBLE SERVICE. I don't think I've ever had a server there that I liked. They're all pretty women with manicured nails and "perfect" makeup and attractive little sporty bodies that don't know squat about customer service.

I picked up Painter XI (have yet to try it!) at the college tech store for a mere $10. Legit copy, too. One of the profs told us that Corel has been trying to get it's software into our school for some time now so they're offering it at a really low price. Score.
